From March 2020, I am opening my home by arrangement under the National Garden Scheme. I am really lucky to be opening as the first person with just houseplants, not a garden (although I do have a garden). I don’t think that I am the best, or that I have the most plants; I am just glad to be the person who is able to plant the Swiss Cheese plant flag and encourage all the others in.
As it is a small place, I am only taking a maximum of 4-6 people per visit, but on nice days in the summer I will be able to offer more space in the garden. My plan is to offer seating and refreshments outside in the summer so that people can take time to enjoy it all. In the winter I have seating for 4-6 people who really like each other.
If you are interested, please let me know. Donation is £4 per person. I will provide tea/coffee and cake/biscuits. Not suitable for wheelchairs or those who are allergic to cats. Baldrick is both large and moulty.
It is really hard to find my entry on the NGS website so it is linked above.
