I’m in the process of applying for a National Collection of Chlorophytum comosum (spider plants). This means having nearly every type of spider plant available in the UK. There are more than you think!

I currently have 19 different types of spider plant, some of which are a bit difficult to distinguish from each other and some which are really different. In total I have 56 plants, because I need to have back up plants in case a plant dies. I will let you know what happens.

If you want more information on what a National Plant Collection is have a look at their website.
